Extra-Post: F-bomb aftermath

I hate cluttering your Inboxes, but I wanted to say to those many generous souls who posted comments on my F-bomb post that I will take time to reply to your comments as I am able—there were SO many still awaiting my ‘approval and response’ that my life situation simply will not allow me to reply to in a timely manner. But they are rich and provocative and demonstrated to me that this conversation about profanity among Christians, and all people of good will, has to happen; and that is not addressed often enough from within the sources of our Catholic faith.

My attempt was only a simple, prayerful musing.

One commentor on my blog post said, ‘Even as a life-time practical Catholic, I simply never seriously connected my faith with my habitual foul language. Now I can never not think about it otherwise. Thank you!’

Sed Deo gratias, thanks be to God. Words are His invention, not mine.
