Bible Rapping

Repost from 2012

On a lighter note than recent posts….

Baby Got Book, by Evangelical Christian songwriter Dan “Southpaw” Smith, is a playful and creative remake of the crass 1992 music video by Sir Mix-a-Lot, Baby Got Back.

My daughter can sing it verbatim — I had forgotten all about it until this last weekend when she started singing it. My favorite line is the one about Catholics.

For your enjoyment:

What a great ecumenical line, and more and more and more… let our evangelization as Catholics not be driven by this ” more” that GOD has given this bride of CHRIST . Rather by our love of all GODS creation(mosquitos, ants, and ticks included) for they will know you are Christians by your love by your love yes they will know you are Christians by your love,. I believe those are the lyrics of one of the songs we sometimes sing at HOLY MASS . P.B.W.Y. dr. Kneel and your family .

P.S. I looking forward to the video young Micheal is going to produce of Patti rapping this out with Maria and Catherine as backup . Wow I’m laughing out loud really hard… peace out dudes.
