Awesome idea to vlog, Tom! I am sitting outside by the water where the river opend up into a small bay on my lunch. As I watched this and I couldn’t tell if the windchimes and birdsong I was hearing was from your end or mine. It is our first warm day and ahhh the glory! Will email you a pic of what I am looking out upon.

Tomorrow, there is a Marian procession coming through our area on its way to Our Lady of the Cape shrine in Trois-Rivières, Quebec. That it coincides with the 105th anniversary of the first apparition in Fatima fills us with expectant hope for peace and mercy, that God’s will be done.

    thumbs up back atcha all!

Thanks for this personal blog. Love the idea and especially the message. What a glorious time, Easter Season. God has given us so much beauty in this world. Love being outside and meditating on His creation.
Thanks for the reminder of the day of prayer and fasting.

Thanks for the message, Tom – I love listening to you because you are so wise and always put things in perspective. I’m also glad for the message about love – as difficult as it is to love those with whom we disagree, that is absolutely what is needed. It was so good to see your face and actually hear your voice! Happy Easter Season!

    Articulate and compelling as always.

  6. Great to see you, even if thru a “live” virtual medium. Great message. Can see and hear the loveliness that NOLA can be. At times miss it, but not TOO much. And thanks for sending out the fledglings with some Dr. Tom resident within. Armed with the wisdom and candor with which I know you instruct them, they shall come to know that the laity is a powerful ally any good priest should learn to cultivate from their first moments as a brand new priest.

Thanks for your “live” post. I shall look for them periodically. Best to you and your lovely bride, and to your entire family. I pray Maria is well and still doing music.

I’ve got a personal note I’ll send to you and Jen a bit later.

The Peace and Blessings of Our Lord, Jesus be with you always!

What a delightful surprise to have a live message from you! Thank you. And thanks for being a thread of the tapestry that is my life, a bright and glittering line woven through now many seasons of seeking God, searching to know Him and His ways, attempting to let Love reign in me. Your words nourish and challenge and console, even when the truth may pierce and prod. Heaven is in the horizon of your posts and I am grateful for the reminder to look up for a glimpse of it.
